"Acts of God" including severe levels of wind can cause damage, for example but not exclusively, by falling trees or items blown onto the roof. Even high quality roofs fitted to a very high standard can be destroyed by such severe conditions. The wind speed that would be considered by an Insurance claim for blowing off a roof depends on your Insurers definition of a storm. Our threshold is when the UK finds it necessary to name a Storm as this means "it has the potential to cause significant damage and result in an Amber or Red warning". If damage occurs whilst a named storm is active any damage as a result will not be covered by our Guarantee and/or Warranty.
Walking on and/or any changes made to the roof will also not be covered by our Guarantee and/or Warranty
